Appletree Surfboards is proud to present our shaper collaboration with Majek foilboards from Oahu Hawaii. Majek boards are designed by legendary northshore shaper Glenn Pang, who has been shaping high end surfboards for the world’s best surfers for years. He has now turned (part) of his attention to foiling and this hasn’t gone unnoticed. You can see his boards under the feet of many great foilers and surfers. His shapes are now available in our proven appletree full carbon construction, taking them to yet another level. And they are now easy to order from wherever you are located, because we ship boards all over the world..

Majek board come in clear carbon and with inserts as standard. They are made to order, we strive to keep production time under 8 weeks at all times. but feel free to contact us for an actual production lead time.

COLLECTION

ALPHA

The most high performance of all the Majek models. It has a narrower nose and pulled in tail making it have a more surfing oriented feel and with a faster more whippy on the turns. It has a single concave which helps with not sticking on the touchdowns and the kick tail lessens the tail touching on the turns. The aggressive beveled rails really cuts down on swing weight which accounts for the quicker response time on the turns. Geared for more of an advanced rider due to the extra sensitive turning, twitchy nature of the board.

Paul Cooper’s signature model. This model is based off of hours of R and D with team rider Paul Cooper. Slightly fuller nose outline which does a couple things, adding a little more volume up forward helps with wave catching and also keeps the nose from over sinking when landing airs. Beveled rails lessen swing weight and the kick tail helps reduce tail area for less tail touching on turns. This model also has a single nose concave which aid in wave catching and nose not sticking on nose touch downs.

Essence

The Essence is geared to the foiler who is looking for a more forward carvy feel to their board. It’s main attribute is the wider nose outline with a narrower tail, which makes it a good match with all of the high and mid aspect wings on the market. It has a double concave on the nose which displaces water and helps with quicker take offs and also helps with not sticking on the nose touch downs. The aggressive beveled rails helps lessen swing weight and the ultra thin tail brings down the thickness between the back foot and the mast, adding to a quicker response time.
