We choose to buy an older used modell since we are not the pros who still need a lot of practise to do a down loop on a wave so it doesn't have to be the newest stuff :-)
Très bon conseil personnalisé comme toujours avec Mr Billy, et quelles que soient les questions sur tous les types de matos, super prix pour cette planche qui promet de belles sorties.
Great company, and very competitive priceprovided communication keeping me completely upto date every step of the way
There's not much to say. It fits nicely, comes in loads of colours and was delivered quickly.
I’ve been putting off buying a OneWheel for over 2 years now. I’ve been looking for a last mile solution to take with me on the train, or when I need to drop my car off somewhere further than I care to walk. I’ve tried electric step scooters, but they’re bulky and usually heavier than a OneWheel. So, I finally decided to get myself a OneWheel. Because of the intended purpose, I went for the more portable Pint version, but because I wanted the extra range, I chose the Pint X. Riding is very intuitive and took me less than 10 minutes to get comfortable with (granted, I am used to board sports such as wakeboarding, snowboarding, kitesurfing,…). My son (10yo) loves it as well and rides around in the garden as soon as he gets home from school.
Delivery and service of the Billy.be team couldn’t have been better. It was personalised and a lot quicker than I had expected.
The Pint X is lovely to ride, I do feel quite safe on it, but always wear helmet and wristguards. It’s perfect to use on the street, so the intended purpose of getting me to the trainstation will be no problem at all. It’s been so much fun that I’ve not only tested it, but find myself just riding around.
I’ve taken it on some trails as well, it handles that great. There’s loads of options to personalise your riding experience such as changing the tire or foodpads. It turns easily around short corners if you want it to, and it’s decently stable at higher speeds (haven’t taken it over 24km/h though and I don’t intend to). The bigger brother GT might be a bit more stable when going straight on higher speeds, but that’s supposed to be the tire shape.
At around 12kg, it’s not light, but not an issue to carry up a few flights of stairs or to put in / get out of the car boot.
Battery is excellent, though the routine charger is a bit slow. The range of up to 20km is plenty for me anyway, so charging it slowly overnight is fine. The only extra I bought with it, was the charging plug to keep the charging port free of dirt. Although I’ve had no issues with dirt flying up my legs so far, I do consider getting a fender. If you carry it, the wheel tends to hit your leg, which might get your pants dirty.
If there’s one downside, it’s that it’s a bit wobbly when going fast and hitting a pothole or something, but nothing you can’t correct in your ankles.
Yes, you’ll be faster on your bike, but will have less fun getting wherever you’re going. I find myself taking sideroutes and little trails around my house that I’ve never taken before, you’ll be surprised how much there is to discover in your own neighbourhood.
My main regret is not having bought this 2 years ago.
The repair tape is very easy to use. There's no need for glue so you can simply apply and patch it, even on the beach.
Our son is very happy. Very friendly owner. Good service. And if you have a problem with the gear, he will do his best to fix it.
Bought spareparts for my Onewheel Pint Which now looks and feel brand new. The footpad fitted perfectly and came with tools and instructions to install. Perfect
Board feels good on water, only minus is that you can feel a bit friction doing 50-50 on widers pipes. You can feel the edge channels to take a hold on the pipe rails.
