For high-speed performance, efficiency is key. We’ve engineered Mode, our high-speed performance wing, with high tensile strength N-Weave 45 X-ply reinforced woven fibre airframe and Matrix N-HTRS canopy for the most efficient power delivery on the market. Developing these new material technologies has allowed us to create a stiffer, lighter and more durable wing without geometric compromise (and without the high-performance price tag). N-Weave 45 reduces structural deflection and transfers wind energy into greater forward speed, explosive boost and hangtime for freestyle tricks. We’ve specifically designed our new low-stretch, low-deflection Matrix N-HTRS high-tenacity canopy material to manage the added tension of the N-Weave 45 airframe, further increasing the wind range, and holding its shape in all conditions.

New Matrix-NHTRS Canopy
Compared to a traditional canopy Matrix is 2.5x stronger on the 0/90deg warp/weft direction and 5x stronger on the 45deg bias direction. This gives your wing canopy greater structural integrity for longer. It will maintain its designed shape over time, especially when used in the overpowered conditions that the Mode Pro excels in.

VMG-Optimised Design
Our primary design objectives for the Mode were speed and VMG, or Velocity Made Good, which indicates your speed towards or from the direction of the wind. The Mode Pro’s fast, VMG-optimized design enables you to sail closer to the wind, on higher upwind angles, reducing your need to tack or gybe, so you reach the mark as quickly as possible.

High end stability and impressive wind range
Any rider will benefit from the Mode’s stability and tensioning. Once you’re up on the foil its designed for stability at the high end – whereas the Nova and Loft Pro are designed for better performance in the low end The 3.5 to 4.8m are designed for use in stronger winds, while the 5.5 and 6.8m are optimised for greater power in lighter air. The larger 6.8m is ideal for going at higher speeds in lighter wind. It might be trickier to get up on the foil but once up on the foil it has higher top-end speeds than the Loft Pro (speed is foil dependent too).

Connected dual inflation valves
There are two HyperFlow Inflation valves, one on the LE and one on the strut, with an interlinking valve and hose. This enables you to inflate the strut to a higher pressure than the leading edge. The connecting hose allows rapid single-point inflation and deflation. The N-Weave material also has a higher inflation pressure capacity, which enables you to to use a smaller wing size, without sacrificing power.

Gybe-friendly window positioning
We’ve placed two smaller windows in front of you so you can see downwind. We’ve also placed a window towards the end of the strut for a visual on what’s behind you.

Rigid Carbon GripLock handles
The lightweight carbon trim handles offer a more immediate, direct response and balance adjustment. The two handlebars are wrapped in a soft EVA comfort grip. Their generous length lets you slide your hands into optimum trimming positions so you can instantly control the wing’s pitch, yaw and roll, while keeping your body positioned perfectly over the foil. More freedom in your hand placement allows you to choose the best feel based on the conditions, your arm length and your body size, and makes transitions more intuitive.

Wing size is dependent on riderweight, ability and foil setup. The recommended wing size is calculated on a 75kg rider of Intermediate ability. Except for the 1.9m, which is designed for lighter riders (under 50kg) or for skateboard sessions.
