The biggest upgrade from the V1 to the Slingshot Rally GT V2 is the thinner leading edge. Slingshot has managed to make the LE 10% thinner, making the Rally GT V2 a kite that steers just a bit faster than its predecessor. In addition, the thinner LE ensures that the Rally V2 rides better with little wind and goes upwind more easily.
Slingshot has expanded the size range of the Rally GT. Available sizes are now 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 14 meters. The 5, 6 and 7 Slingshot Rally GT v2 have a 4 point IRS Bridle. The lowest attachment of this bridle is made of a strong but elastic leash. This makes the kite a bit friendlier, especially in gusty conditions.
The 8, 9, 10, 12 and 14 meter Rally GT V2 have a 4-point pulley IRS bridle. This ensures that the kites go upwind like crazy, relaunch super easy and ride super comfortably. Everything you want as a beginner or just as an enjoyable freerider.
The fabric of the Slingshot Rally GT V2 is the super strong 4x4 teijin riptstop. There is no stronger than this. Of course, the Rally GT, like many other Slingshot kites, has the split strut integrated into the canopy. The Split Strut provides a more durable, stable and efficient canopy of the Rally GT V2.
